Happy New Year friends! I hope you had a joyful (and restful!) holiday and are getting back into your January groove. It is such a special time of the year – filled with promise and hope. I love getting cozy by the fire to reflect on the past year and set my intentions for the year ahead.
It has been freezing in Boston (which makes that fire even more important!) and makes me really excited to spend a week out in California this March for the Living Whole Retreat. Some of you may remember me mentioning this retreat, or sharing information about it in my newsletter, but it’s going to be a truly transformative experience! I’ve teamed up with a group of wildly talented colleagues to create an immersion retreat dedicated to self-care and integrative health. Participants will be led on a deep journey of introspection, exploration, and learning.
I’ll be facilitating the food component, along with my friend David, and we have some wonderful ideas up our sleeve. We’ll be leading small group cooking classes, sharing our knowledge about the best ways to nourish the body, and enjoying delicious plant-based meals together. It’s going to be great!
I recently shared a blog post on the International Integrators blog about my journey healing myself with food, and our plans for exploring food together at the Living Whole Retreat. I hope you enjoy it!
